Step 2- File Processing
We can also serve as an advocate for homeowners in communications with mortgage servicers, working to reach mutually agreeable solutions to avoid foreclosure. Your Lender/Mortgage Company packet is completed and submitted to all pertinent parties for review.
Step 3- Discuss Options
We will discuss the Options you have at hand and take the next steps to foreclosure prevention. This can includes loan modifications, assisting clients in applying for state and federal aid programs, such as the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) or other local initiatives. If a homeowner cannot keep their home, the firm can help negotiate alternatives to foreclosure, such as a short sale, where the home is sold for less than the mortgage balance, or a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, where the homeowner voluntarily transfers the deed to the lender.
